Boy & Bear were amazed and humbled by their night of wins last night at the 25th Annual ARIA awards. Having been nominated in seven categories for their debut album, including Album of the Year, Single of the Year, Best Group, Best Breakthrough Album, Best Breakthrough Single, Best Adult Alternative and Best Producer, Boy & Bear walked away with five of the seven - Album of The Year, Best Group, Breakthrough Artist Album, Best Adult Alternative Album & Breakthrough Artist Single for ‘Feeding Line’ on the night. The band also joined a highly impressive lineup of artists, with a live performance of their award winning single ‘Feeding Line’.
Having wrapped up a successful Twin Coast Tour in the US, the band arrived back in Australia in November and headed straight back out on the road for their much anticipated ‘Moonfire Tour’. The two remaining shows, Hobart on December 2 and Launceston on December 3, will be their final performances of their critically praised national tour. Boy & Bear will be performing at Oxford Street Party in Rockhampton on December 30 and Pyramid Rock Festival on December 31 to finish out 2011.
With the band’s current single ‘Part Time Believer’ enjoying its own success, and their album ‘Moonfire’ approaching Platinum sales in Australia, 2012 is shaping up to be another amazing year for Boy & Bear.
