Bowditch spent time in Germany for the recording of this album, where music of a 'digital' or vocaliser nature is being produced heavily; greatly influencing foreign artists. Her accurate vocals and beautiful tunes remain as a stunning feature of the track "The start of war". At some times I feel that the song is too busy with synth however it slots nicely into the style of the entire album.
