On September 30, Lee Kernaghan's Ultimate Hits will be released through ABC Music/Universal Music Australia, marking a major milestone in a music career that has produced 30 #1 chart hits and record sales approaching 2,000,000 units in Australia alone.

The Ultimate Hits will capture Lee's entire musical journey from his debut ARIA Award winning The Outback Club album (1992) right through to his latest Golden Guitar award winning album, Planet Country.

The story of Lee's contribution to Australia and its communities has been well documented. His relationship with his fans is legendary with countless stories of him staying after shows, sometimes til sunrise, to meet and greet the legions of loyal fans that Lee calls his friends. Lee said, “It’s my mates out there that have put these songs on the map. The people who have come out to the shows, bought the records and made these songs a part of the soundtrack of their lives. This is the part of being in music that pulls on my heart the most and makes all the highs and lows worthwhile.
