As the highly anticipated release of second album “Babel” creeps closer, there is something very special in the works for Sydney fans: the Mumford & Sons General Store. In a special collaboration with local visionaries Under New Management, a little nook has been created to escape from the dusty streets of central Sydney and relish in all things Mumford & Sons.
By day, it will be a space to put your feet up, receive a Grinders coffee and best of all, hear the new Mumford & Sons album “Babel” ahead of its September 21st release. By night, the General Store will transform into the M&S Saloon; a new local haunt for the most dapper of Sydney’s ladies and gentlemen. The evenings will be scattered with Whisky flights from ARDBEG, live music from the band’s favourite locals and screenings of the band’s film “Big Easy Express”.
Presented by Time Out and partnering with Grinders Coffee and ARDBEG Whisky, the Mumford & Sons General Store will be open to the public daily at 10am from Friday 14th September until Friday 28th September. More details on the store’s location and entertainment program will be revealed in the coming days.
