Pond Announce Supports For Headlining Tour
Noticed those pesky little flying ants in the air recently? We have it on good authority that they signal a change in the weather, which means Spring is nearly upon us, which means that the Pond headlining national tour is just weeks away! ALRIGHT!
So, that also means it’s time for the boys to reveal the supports for the tour.
Kicking of the first show, Perth’s Bakery will see Water Temple, Peter Bibby and The Weapon Is Sound. Sydney’s Metro will see Melodie Nelson and Day Ravies join the lads,
and Super Wild Horses and Pikelet will get the stage toasty at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel.
That’s a quality bunch of talented dudes and dudettes right there.
Tickets for all these shows are on sale now and those Ponderers keen for their fix are snapping them up quickly.
And in case you haven’t seen it yet, make sure you check out the rad, self-made video for Moth Wings, which will tie you over until mid September. Get your laugh on now.
In other news, in case you’ve forgotten what pretty much the whole world is saying about Pond at the moment, here’s a refresher. NME not only thinks that Pond are the “Hottest New Band in the World”, they also rate Beard, Wives, Denim 9/10 and “possibly the best album released so far this year”. Why not make up your own rating, this September.
