The captivating Sarah Blasko will take ‘I Awake’ on the road with her in February 2013 and it’s set to be a big affair. Taking in all states, Blasko has invited an orchestra in each capital city to accompany her, rousing the beast that is ‘I Awake’.
Premiering on Friday 1st February at Adelaide Festival Centre, the tour will then take in the Wrest Point Casino in Hobart on Monday 4th February, Queensland Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 9th February, Hamer Hall in Melbourne onThursday 14th February, Sydney Opera House on Sunday 17th February before finishing at Kings Park & Botanic Garden Perth on Saturday 23rd February.
Already acclaimed by critics as her masterpiece, touring‘I Awake’ will take audiences on a tumbling and soaring journey, including songs from her previous repertoire.

With little over a week until ‘I Awake’ is released, Sarah has been busy creating an Album Installation in the heart of Sydney. The installation will be a space in which the album can be experienced prior to its release as well as being able to view a short film inspired by the work of director Mike Daly in an intimate cinema.
