Includes all six Cello Suites By Johann Sebastian Bach, the greatest music ever composed for the solo cello, rescued from relative obscurity by Pablo Casals a little over 100 years ago.

Includes a complete recording of the most popular concerto composed for the cello by Edward Elgar, alongside movements from other works, and arrangements of popular classics such as Albinoni’s Adagio and the popular show-stopping encore, The Flight of the Bumble-Bee.

Features some of the greatest cellists in the Decca catalogue, including János Starker, Heinrich Schiff, Julian Lloyd Webber, Lynn Harrell and Maurice Gendron.
