This just in! The hottest and most-hyped of boy bands - The Wanted - are confirmed to visit Australia this August and we are giving one lucky Getmuso the chance to meet them! The British lads are a big deal back home. Their debut single All Time Low reached number one on the UK charts, as did follow-up Glad You Came, while Chasing the Sun hit number two. Their second album THE WANTED (The EP) is out Friday July 6, and we predict it be just as big. After a personal invitation from Justin Bieber to tour South America on his world tour later this year, and between playing to fans on their own stadium shows across the US, UK and Europe – is there anything these five dudes can’t do?

1. The Wanted are Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes.
2. Nathan is the youngest member at 19, and Tom the oldest at 23.
3. They are the first boy band to rule the US Top 40 with a debut single since Hanson spent 8 weeks at number one with ‘mmmbop’ in 1997.
4. THE WANTED (EP) is their second album. Battleground was their first and released last year, going platinum in the UK.
5. They are taking over Facebook and Twitter, with 2 million likes and 700,000 followers!
6. Their video for ‘Chasing the Sun’ has over 10 million views on YouTube.
