About Us

Get Music is a group of Australia’s national broadcasters aiming to bring the youth their daily dose of music. It is our lifelong goal to discover new yet amazing music and artists. You can expect us to get you our newfound gems through your radio, online sites and platforms, and phone. You may even find us broadcasting live in your place in case of special events.

Get Music has been around since the mid-90s. We, however, only started our official digital radio station in 2011. Nevertheless, it was one of our most beautiful times as we got to discover some of the top icons like Courtney Barnett, Missy Higgins, Japanese Wallpaper, Grinspoon, Killing Heidi, and a lot more.

When 2014 came, Get Music worked alongside artists to bring updated music playlists for the classics and originals that we discovered since our founding.

We promote diversity and equality among different music styles. No matter if your music is made spontaneously in your bedroom or if you recorded it in your basement, we’re willing to be all-ears to know what you can offer.

Of course, along with music, Get Music also aims to bring light to current youth topics and issues. We want to use our platform in the best way that we possibly can. Hence, you can expect us to raise awareness on relevant and important news.

You can mainly catch us on Live At The Station Series. Here, we broadcast in real-time the hit performances from artists all over the world. We have streamed the sets of Kid Cudi, Tiesto, Daft Punk, and Amy Shark. Our highlights are available every Monday at 8 PM. We also stream an encore every Sunday at 1 PM.

Another one of our live programs is called “Like A Version”. Instead of streaming performance highlights, we invite musicians to our studio. In this program, we’ll ask them to play one of their favourite compositions and another song from their favourite artists. This is streamed every Friday at 8 AM.

Some of the very talented artists we have invited in Like A Version are Client Liaison, Telenova, Wave Racer, and Something for Kate.

Nevertheless, you can check our playlist compilations on Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube.

Simply said, we’re here to assist you at any time of the day.

Get Music also has special-themed podcasts like Dr. Moe Podcast with Dr. Moe Sizlack and John Smith. Check the full list on the website
